Feuling Reaper 465 Chain Drive Cam for 17-19 Harley Dyna Touring Softail FLHX M8. REAPER® CAMS FOR 17-18 M-EIGHT.
Produce more power and torque in the riding rpm range, improving throttle response, acceleration and fuel mileage. Smooth camshaft lobe ramps are easier on valvetrain components and eliminate excessive valvetrain noise and wear.Dyno proven and track tested. Will respond well when used with slip-on mufflers or a full exhaust system and a high-flow air cleaner. Direct bolt-in replacement for M-Eight engines; can be used with stock valve springs, pushrods, lifters and exhaust. Responds well when combined with increased engine bore and/or engine compression.
Use of performance valve springs is not required but may result in a quieter, smoother-running valve train. Produces solid bottom-end performance and substantial gains above 2800 rpm compared to the stock cams.NOTE: Due to the unstable nature of this 4-valve engine design with one rocker arm activating two valve springs, Feuling highly recommends running one-piece pushrods over quick-install adjustable pushrods to maintain maximum cam/valve lift and reduce valvetrain harmonics and associated hydraulic lifter issues.
